Lol. It sounds more complicated than it actually is. It doesn't take but 5 seconds.

Also,

-Highlight numbers you want to delete (while holding aA (shift) key, roll trackball over list).

-Menu

-Delete

A faster (maybe) way is to go into message, hit alt+p and that will display your call logs. Then, delete prior.

I've been searching on how to do that. Works like a charm. Thank you.

if dial from homescreen is disabled, hit m for messages

to disable dial from homescreen: hit phone button>bb button>options>general options>dial from home screen: no

with that function off, you can do so much with shortcuts from just hitting letters. a few i use include

a-addressbook
f-profiles
m-messages
i-aim
l-calender
k-keyboard lock
b-browser
n-bbm
g-googletalk
x-windows msgr live
d-notepad

lol a few others too i think but yeah...there shuld be a list somewhere on cb

I'm assuming this is a joke, but I'm a total n00b, so I'll take the bait.
On your home screen, click on the little icon that looks like an envelope. Just the plain one.
This will display your incoming and outgoing text messages, and, if you have it set up, Email as well.

mumfoau meant just your regular text 'messages.'

O...kay....
Same deal.
Little icon with the phone and the two arrows, one pointing away, one pointing towards it.

Or, as it's described above, go to your messages, then press the ALT key, then "P"...wait a moment, and your call log will appear.

Default No dial from main screen option to be found ...

I have the AT&T BlackBerry 8310 Curve which I would like to use the shortcut list with. Followed the instructions to Options but can not find the "dial from homescreen" option to disable. Where am I going wrong?
