8330 curve work in spain?

Hey guys,

So im brand new to bb, never owned one before or know anything about them really. I just got an old alltel 8330 from a friend, with hopes that i can get a sim chip or something from an orange or vodaphone or something here in spain. Idk if i need to get it unlocked or anything, can anyone help me out?

The 8330 is a CDMA device which does not use SIM cards, so it will not work in Spain. The Spanish mobile providers are GSM, so you need a GSM device such as one from AT&T or T-Mobile that is unlocked, or a dual CDMA/GSM device that is unlocked.
