I have 8320 from T-mobile unlocked and now I am using it for AT&T. I don't have data plan, but have wifi working now. I am trying to make use of Gmail, Facebook, other messenger application with WIFI.
I heard that you need a service book loaded from AT&T and it seems like only way to do that is to sign up for a data plan. Someone had a data plan for one day to download the servicebook and cancelled very next day and the application on his phone worked with WIFI.
Is there any way to get service book w/o getting the data plan? How can I use those apps?
