So i was browsing through the cnn.cn website and noticed in their 8320 section they have the mid plate available. I have an 8300. Now this is a long shot i know, but is it possible to slap that 8320 mid plate into my 8300 to get the gps and wi-fi if i were to load an 8320 operating system on the phone??

My appologies if this has been asked before.

Hmm. To the best of my knowledge, this will not work.

I think thats a hardware issue
The midplate is just to keep the phone together and a place for the board to sit on.

Your board and chipset are what will keep you from using GPS and wifi, not the midplate.

it'll say "wifi" on the top edge, so you can pretend you have it.
