Angry 8320 Curve keeps rebooting....

My phone keeps rebooting and Tmo is not helping any to fix this. I have tried soft/hard resets, swapping sims, and whatever else i could have tried. Tmo is sending me a new battery because they " guess " that is the problem since the first 6 things didnt work. Out of no where the phone will shut down and reboot. Some times not at all sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. Sometimes when on a call sometimes not. Has this or is this happening to anyone else? Not sure what else to do. This is the second phone i received and this is still happening. grrrr.....

Are you in a wifi area? I've seen this happen when the device is trying to connect to "N" type routers. Also, batteries have been known to cause this, too.

I had the same problem with my curve. Constantly rebooted as soon as I ran the wi-fi setup. Unplugged my belkin N router and curve immediately stopped rebooting. Tmobile and RIM were no help on this, I had to figure it out through trial and error (and went through 2 handsets). Easy fix: I returned the router to wally world and exchanged for linksys G router.

Default It happens on ATT too

I am having the same issues on ATT and we do not have wifi. I have 2 associates with the same issues. I am having ATT send me a new unit to see if that fixes it.

Could this be a software issue? I did an update, can i wipe out the entire os and start over from scratch? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

You could try reformating the memory card also. That worked for me.

Usually freezing or rebooting issues are related to memory. What is your free memory?

The media card is also a common culprit.

Try removing it. If that corrects the problem, you can try re-formating it.

I'm having this problem now. It started yesterday at lunch. It's shut down and rebooted as many times as possible. It just started out of the blue. No new apps or downloads. It only stays on the home screen for maybe 2 minutes at most i'd say, then it reboots. It may stay on the white screen with hour glass for 5 minutes sometimes. It will not stop. Today I got by the store and got a warranty phone, got halfway home and same thing, it started doing it again, and have a white screen/hour glass right now as a matter of fact.

Any solution?

I have a 8330. And mine reboots sometimes. But it doesn't do it continuously. Usually it happens because I have too much **** running or something will freeze it up.
