I am getting a new phone for xmas and I was torn between the 8310 and the 8900.....i finally decided to get the 8900....but last night I thought....."what about the 8320?"

I read a mini review from someone on flickr that said:


"Big bonus and one of those what the??? moments is its pretty much auto setup for UMA so I can have voice-over-IP calls using UMA while I am out of my mobile range (my location is away from the cellular network for most of the time) -- now, all of a sudden, the mobile phone has become a reasonable means of reaching me -- this completely did my head in when it was out of cell range (as we are here) the cell radio was switched off and still voice mail and calls arrived! (Better check the billing on UMA calls though)!"


I don't quite understand what UMA is.
How is the 8320 speed wise? Is it really slow at times?
I heard the web browsing is out of date...whatever that means..but I have a pearl and I don't really mind the web browsing it has so if its the same, then that's fine with me.

I'd really appreciate some info because I have until tomorrow to make up my mind

I suggest the 8900. I got to play with my boyfriend's and I was blown away by the 8900's performance. Once updated to os 5.0 the menu's look nicer, it's faster, more memory. it made me wish I had the 8900 instead of my 8330.

I've had both. The 8900 is a pretty damn cool phone.. I upgraded from the 8310 and almost cried when i had to go back to it

(not because of the phone, i didnt want to pay the 30$/mo data plan)

Yea go for the 8900. I have both 8320 and the 8900 and the 8900 is by far much better. Especially the screen and the memory which never seems to get low. You will not be disapointed with the 8900
