New 8310 w/ AT&T. I've confirmed that the GPS works fine via the settings menu and can refresh and find my location just fine. I've installed google maps and it does not seem to integrate with the internal GPS on the 8310. The only option in google maps is for a bluetooth gps - when I select it I'm told no GPS found. I've gone through the permissions settings in the advanced-->applications-->google applications and allowed it access to the GPS device. Several saves and reboots and I still have no GPS integration with google maps. I've even downloaded the app OTA again and still no luck. Most of the posts on this subject are pretty sparse on detail and only seem to reference download issues. Anyone out there have an answer?

    thanks

    Download Maps at google.com/gmm
on your mobile web browser after you install start the program and it will not have the bluetooth option. thats how you know you have the right one installed i would take the one that you have now off first. after you start the new one it will take a few minutes to find you or just press 0 (zero)

Okay I'm lovin' my 8310 but why did I have to go through opera to download Google maps? Then opera just redirected to the Blackberry browser and finally downloaded the application. When I tried to access the google map download directly through the BB browser if just kept going back to the same page I was on. I've had this same issue with other websites on the BB browser...what gives? BTW Crackberry rocks!!

Solved one issue...the quick link was garbage but once I typed in the link manually it went right to the download page. now to figure out why the application doesn't work.

Odd, the exact same version(1.6.4) that i downloaded using opera that didn't work, worked fine now that i used the BB browser to go directly to the google/gmm download page...gremlins man, gremlins...all better now!! Have a nice day!!

Okay help!!! The application downloaded but now it won't open!!

why pay for the service if you can get it for free? The only difference is there is no voice directions.

I redownloaded google maps/gmm and I'm getting the same problem...no GPS found. I do still have the other one on the 8310. The new one doesn't have the bluetooth option in the options menu, but when I press 0 it still doesn't find me. Help please!

I have successfully installed the google map application by going to the link provided above. It somehow works, but i get this error very often: "Supplementary service error: Subscription violation". Does anybody know how to get rid off this error!?

I can't get it to work either. ATT/8310. Twice now, and it still has the Bluetooth GPS option, and says it can't find my location.

Edit: Messed with it some more, and did checked my settings. I have the 8300, but the GPS settings in Advanced Options says 8310...so I'll need to buy a puck. Any recommendations?
