I have an unlocked 8310 i used about 1.5 years ago. My daughter recently lost her phone so I gave her this one. Her sim card works perfectly fine in all other phones, but when I put it n the 8310....it says invalid sims card.

I already went to OPTIONS, ADVANCED OPTIONS, SIM CARD, and typed MEPD. Its says SIM-disabled, NETWORK-active, the rest are DISABLED.

Does anyone know what this means or what I can do to get this to work for my daughter? My SIM card reads INVALID in it too.

If network is "active", your phone has not been unlocked. Contact your carrier for a free unlock code or contact one of the reputable unlockers in the Unlocking Forum to purchase one for a small fee.
