My brother bought a 8310 a few weeks ago, and he just bought a sandisk 2GB memory card recently. When he inserted the micro sd card, the phone won't recognize it. It says to format the memory card. We try to format, but the phone says "format fails". I used my bold to format his cards and it worked. But then when we put it back to the 8310 again, it still wouldn't recognize the phone and it still could not format the card. I used my card on his phone and no luck at all. Is it because of the 4.5 version that has trouble, or should we upgrade the version? We really need help here.

Thks mastermind, I still hope it's the software causing the slot to malfunction. My brother bought a blackmarket one which become a big proiblem for us.. We will try to bring it to service center. I hope they know what the problem is.
