my 8310 won't send out any calls..what can i do or do you think it needs to be flashed?

i have another 8310 and it wont read any memory cards...

please help

I'm a little confused, I thought only cdma could be flashed, and gsm could just be unlocked to use on any network. Did you format the memory card when you put it in your 8310? What does "send out calls" mean?
