- Another quick question....
I just received my replacement 8310 this evening- immediately upgraded to 4.5. Used Device Switch Wizard to move my data. All 100% successful, no hiccups. Made a call to test. All went fine. I sent a test email from one of my email accounts to another, also to test. IMMEDIATELY got the red X- email didn't send; none of the accounts work. Verified all the email setup info was correct. Reregistered through Host Routing Table. Signal ok. What's causing this? Seems simple, I just can't figure out what it is.......
Oh, the new phone came with a new SIM. I first tried it, and it wasn't recognized (forget the message now- can reinstall it and capture the message if it will prove relevant), so I put my old SIM in, and all worked fine except my emails. SMS/MMS work fine also.
Please help- thanks.12-19-08 11:34 PMLike 0 - amazinglygracelessRetired ModGo back to the AT&T BIS site and change your device information

I went from WinMo to Symbian and accidentally became a BB user.
This site is responsible for more than 90% of what I have learned.
Give it a fair chance and you will appreciate the device and the
platform more. Welcome aboard12-20-08 12:37 AMLike 0 -

It's been hours, so they should be coming through. I use 4 email addresses on my BB, and they are all Yahoo emails, if that helps. All was fine prior to changing from 8300-8310.12-20-08 09:08 PMLike 0 - Is this thing on?
So last night at like 3am I stayed on the phone with ATT for over an hour and a half- I called their afterhours support and spoke to the BB 'specialist' on duty. He couldn't give me anything new to try, and said that all my permissions and settings were right. He sent me a test email, and told me to re-send my service books. Whoopdee-doo. The test email didn't go through to my BB. Thanks, guy.
My next thing I'm thinking is to back it up, wipe it and start all over again. But I get the feeling that if that's the problem, I'll end up reinstalling the problem if I do that.
Again, does anyone have any other ideas?12-21-08 11:40 AMLike 0 - Thanks for the reply-
It is Yahoo. It is not a premium account. I have 3 other Yahoo accounts, one premium, the other two NOT premium accounts. All others now are working fine. Done all kinds of tests on them. But I can't receive on the one account.
So I don't think it's an OS issue, because its just the one account. The account worked fine on the last BB though. As soon as I changed to this one/installed 4.5 (which was also on the last BB) it stopped working.12-21-08 12:23 PMLike 0 - LOL glad its working.
I had to validate my acct this AM in my BIS for whatever reason, as did my fiance, no hotmail coming thru, resent my books a few times, nothiing, then I get a msg to validate the password, 3.5 months into it LOL it works now though..
