The backlight for the keyboard on my 8300 flickers and will sometimes even just stay off. I have no clue what could be causing this but I would like some advice as to how to fix it. It is really annoying me now. Is it a part that may have gone bad that can be eaisly replaced?

Sounds like a hardware issue m8. Visit your carrier and have them check it out. If your phone is still under warranty or you have insurance, they will replace it for you.

The phone is no longer under warranty, so sadly I will have to foot any repair bills. And replacing it is not an option right now I will shoot an email to a local repair shop and see what they say. Is there anyone out there that has had and resolved this issue in the past?
