So I think I've finally grown the kahunas to replace the housing on my curve 8310. For those of you who have already done the replacement, I'm just curious where you purchased the housing (other than cnn, and if you bought it off of ebay which seller did you buy it from.) I've just heard stories about gaps between the screen and the trackball, etc.
I'm thinking about replacing my scratched titanium housing with the sapphire blue housing that comes on the 8320.
Also, for those of you who have already gone ahead with the replacement, any tips for me? Little things that I should be aware of. All tips welcome.
Replaced my alltel 8330 titanium with a inferno orange sprint housing. Just go slow and pay attention to how everything comes apart. Dont try to force it. When you remove the faceplate, it has 2 clips on each side. The clips in the middle are lip style and the clips on the bottom sides are hook style. Pay attention and you will be fine. Enjoy.
