I know this might be a dumb question. But does anyone with the legit metro 8330 have the 5.0 running on it? I've tried countlessly installing it. Tried leak version and boost version. Removing the vendor file in each. Nothing happened it doesn't do anything. Apploader just continues with out updateing. Can anyone help? Is the metro bb a 8330M?

Go to your options, about screen to seeee if it is a 8330m, if not you can use instructions in my sig and ask for help in the hybrid forum.. I used jl commander to remove my os then installed 5.0 from boost. You also need to delete your other downloaded os's except 5.0 then you can install 5.0

Same procedure. Make sure that you are using an OS for the 8330m and not the 8330. They are different devices, as far as the OS is concerned.

No 5.0 for the 8330m yet… there is a thread with the newest one out for the M model but no 5.0...
