Bear in mind that the OS is also a factor as to what
    size card you can use

Here's the current Media Card capacities.

    * BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 Up to 2GB
    * BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 Up to 4GB
    * BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 Up to 4GB
    * BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 and above Up to 8GB

Rumor has it that the Bold supports up to 32Gb. I assume that means when someone builds a 32Gb card it will work...

"sd" card will not work in your phone , physically too big. "memory stick" is Sony brand and also physically too big.

You need an "microsdhc" card. And do pay mind to what AG said Pete said about OS and capacities.

Got my 8gb on Amazon for about $35 and prefer to shop there. Avoid ebay. If Lancer really got his for $40 at a Verizon store that is the way to go. $40 and instant delivery............I just know the Verizon stores around here are twice that!

Yea, i only got it for that low because they had a sale going on that day. Originally it sold for $79, was on sale for $59, and i had a gift certficate from work for $20. so in the end, it costed $39 +tax.

I paid $99.99 + tax = $106 for my 2gb microsd card in a Verizon store a couple of years ago and have been kicking myself ever since
