My os is 4.2.2.170. I have about 18 mb if file free and if I leave apps running or let my msgs pile up it gets down to 13. Closing my apps and cleaning my casche and a battery pull recovers it all back. I have never experienced any problems associated with low memory. All apps and internet are fairly snappy. Hope you find a solution to your problem.

I am rurrently running .42 and I did notice it was slower once the install was completed, but after about 5 minutes it came back to normal speeds.

Havn't noticed any leaks as far as memory is concerned but I will keep an eye out for it.

I'm hoping ATT releases something official soon though, and hopefully a fix for these issues with it.

    My first post BTW!
Recently purchased my very first BB 8310 Curve
I had minimal leaks with .48. Downgraded to "official" .37

well a battery pull fixes our memory issues too. if you get down to 13 then you have a leak too.
it shouldn't get down to 13

Anyhting is possible. I was running Iberry on .37 and had a major memory leak. I'm now running L theme and memory leak has been less but still a leak.

the thing is it really doesn't lag or anything so i think i'll keep my iberry theme. just wondering if that could be contributing to it

I'm having this issue. Start out at 26MB after a battery pull in the morning and by lunch I'm down to about 15MB.

WTF is this caused from? This drains faster than my battery and It just stays in my pocket.. I have an 8330 curve with the L theme.. Custom wallpaper... thats it

What made .42 worth going back to? Just curious. I'm sticking with .37 until At&t releases their version. My IT dept will get mad if I have to keep getting a new password to connect. My memory is getting to be more stable now.

I'm having the same issues as the ".37 beta" whenever I try to respond on on Crackberry (wap) from my berry. The reply button will not respond. Ok, I go thru opera mini and get error messages. The official version wasn't bad at all. I really wanted to see for myself if there were any real differences - besides the memory.

i thought the beta and official are the same software. just that vodafone said .37 would be supported. not a different verision.
