Once you do get 4.5 you'll love it, I have it on my 8310 and it is awesome.

4.3 is basically most major changes that are appearing in 4.5.. verizon users we have most of the 4.5 features except for doc's to go and HTML email support... other than that 4.3 -> 4.5 for us is not as big of a jump as for the rest of you GSM curve owners..

AHHHHHHH wow! well done Hey, just random, I dont know the model of my friends curve, but she has ATT... but everytime she answers a call, the volume goes ALL THE WAY DOWN... any reason or way to stop that? Thanks!!

Phone-Menu-Options-General Options-Default Call Volume

This setting takes what your volume was for the last call and changes it to the preset value or keeps it the same. It sounds like it's set to 25% in your case. I keep mine at 75% or 100% and it works for me.
