I'VE FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS. I GET TO THE POINT WHERE IT SAYS "CHECKING FOR UPDATES" ON MY DESKTOP MANAGER------------AND THEN NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I'VE TRIED APP LOADER TO SEARCH FOR IT MANUALLY, I'VE UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED.

Also, check ADD/REMOVE to make sure it's installed properly.

I had the exact same problem - besides the desktop manager did you actually download the os? Cause thats a different download you have to do to.

As srplummer says, download CrackMem and read the Heklp file. There is a ton of info in there that will lead you throigh the upgrade process and thera are all the links that you need to make it work in the same file too.

Once CrackMem is downloaded you have everything you need from links to help to a ste by step upgrade guide all in the Help file.

Make sure your berry is plugged directly into a USB port and not a USB hub. Do you have a copy of the OS installed on your computer?
