Found this on berryreview.com, via my Viigo just now. Haven't gone there. On my bb, will go home soon and try it.

Go to berryreview.com and learch for 8320 OS 4.5.0.55. I had the link posted, but was informed it was a beta, not an official, thus have taken it down, as it is against forum rules.

Downloading it now, will load it when I get home from my date tonight, maybe. Not if she comes back with me. LOL She has a blackberry, though, it is a good start!

It needs to come from a carrier site or blackberry.com. This is a beta.

Either way, it takes 5 seconds to find on the internet.

You really need to seek help. To the others, leave the job of moderation to the moderators. Being a "brown-noser" lost its appeal in kindergarten. To the OP, I thank you for bringing the OS to our attention.

Just because it is not on a providers website does not mean that it is a beta.

So what your saying is that this OS can be a official one? Because I haven't heard of any official announcement yet from any provider about this being official.

I installed it and it is very stable! Less mem leak too. The protocol Nazis should go away and get an iPhone, I appreciate real Crackberries' insights! PM me for a link, I'll open up a private FTP site just to spite the protocol wonks.

Why is this an entirely separate thread?

.55 for the 8320 has been around and available to install for at least 5 days

*EDIT* : And this should be in the OS 4.5 Beta section of the forum... just to clear up the confusion for those members who still think this is 'official' for some reason!

I've read less mem leak. Will take at least a few hours to confirm that. More stable, again, hear say.

Please to not put down other members that follow the policy. It is strictly against forum rules to post links for Betas! I assume you know why, but apparently it does not phase you at all

If there is a link to a Beta posted on CB and RIM comes across it (which they always do)... then CrackBerry can be sent a C&D notice. Please do not tell other members who are trying to preserve the community to stop "brown-nosing" and "acting like a moderator"... I would rather have the Beta link removed than to have CB under fire from RIM!

You are the one who really needs to seek help! The OS is not official and is a Beta. Do not put down others for following the policy that is set in place

I think that was .55 for the 8310?
I have been running .55 on my 8320 since last Friday... It has been available for the 8310 for longer, but this has been available for some time now...
