I just upgraded to 4.05 a few days ago and I like it for the most part. One of my biggest complaints is the ringer volume seam to be noticibly lower. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?
I had that problem with .52 and .55, i'm running .81 now, and while it does still have the problem, it isn't nearly as bad as the previous two versions i had tried
I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be further updates that will resolve the lower volume issue... I was hoping it wasn't intentional. I know a lot of the ringers, including custom made ones tend to be quite loud, but I drive for a living, and I need that volume. Otherwise, I have it on vibrate. Plus my Curve served as my alarm clock, and now it's useless in that respect. I've also tried using audacity (and other packages) to bump up the volume, but all it winds up doing is distorting the sound.
If anyone knows anything (maybe the moderator and/or admin for example) about possible updates, or perhaps someone to contact at Research in Motion, please reply.
