1) Is there any problems or know issues with leaving Jive Talk on all the time? I have an unlimited data plan...
2)on my old 3125 smart phone I had a task manager that I would have to go into to shut down applications after running them or they would be backgrounded eating battery reserves. Does the 8310 curve require me to shut down my applications any way other then closing them down.
1. Other than battery consumption, no. I leave JiveTalk on all day.
2. Hit Menu>Close. Not all apps completely close when you use the escape key. A soft reboot with ALT + right cap + DEL will shut everything down and give you a clean start, as will a good ol' fashioned battery pull.
