Me and my 8350i Boostberry are still here, I can't believe more people don't use this format. On the "Shrinkage" plan I now pay $45/month for unlimited everything. Data is slow but I have a computer for real internet access.

Still using it for PTT and e-mails.
I'm just praying that Blackberry would release a new 3G PTT berry soon.
I replaced my keypads and track ball, but it's still running strong.

I'm sure it won't be on the Nextel network (since it'll be phased out by 2013) but Sprint is supposed to be developing/releasing PTT on their network that works as well as Nextel. We'll see.

Is there a tutorial for this somewhere, or you just figure it out? Where's the best source for parts?

Install a new OS or Hybrid OS and make sure you shrink it.

I'm still here...8350i, OS 4, Boost with Shrinkage. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do when the Nextel network shuts down.

Run away RUN AWAY!!!!
Give the 8350i to the recycle bin and move on to a real berry or just completely jump ship.
The 8350i is not worth it with all the new berry's coming out and the much faster network that is more worthy of the berry.

^^ Send me one of those new ones for free and I'll junk my 8350i.

I think it's a great phone on the Boostberry plan if you don't need 3G data, which I don't. Bought mine used for $45, I pay $45/month for Unlimited Everything, no contract, and it does everything I need. Perfect.

My trackball was acting funny, and cotton swab + alcohol method wasn't working. I looked for tutorials of do-it-yourself to replace trackball, but it was a bit complicated for me. So what the heck, I took it to sprint store to replace it. It was a fixed price for one time service (I think it was $30), and I asked service rep to replace keypads as well.

And voila, I think i can use this for another year or so.

Come on RIM, release 3g ptt berry!

Still using my 8350i for PTT as well as emails. Still a great device! Say what you want but, buying a new device is like buying a new car. The very next day a better model comes out. Until Sprint combines PTT onto CDMA I will stick with Iden.

Here's two more reasons not to get EVO. It's dam near impossible to get your I tunes to sync easly . The batteryis horrible . Also this auto correct thing makes you look likes and ***** when it plays thesaurus.

I'm holding onto mine for a few more weeks. When the Torch2 comes out i'll go to Telus and do a side by side comparison with the T2 and 9900 and i'll buy one of them.
The telus store I go to buys and sells used phones so I'll sell them my 760i, faulty 8350i and good 8350i and use that money towards the new berry
