speakerphone distorted/blown... what to do....

i have a 8350i that i converted over to boost 100%.........i put a 2gb card in it.... put music on it... i was playing music at about 4-5am for only 20-30 mins really low and later after i went to bed woke up and the speaker just makes crackling sounds but you can hear it if you turn it down almost ALL the way... did the speaker blow out or is there something i need to do?? ive looked for related threads and none are of the 8350

do i have to get the speaker replaced or replace the phone???

Have you tried plugging and unplugging the headphones into the jack? My gf's phone started having speaker problems one day and we finally tried the above. Cured the low power distortion problems. It's like the jack didn't fully deactivate the last time she unplugged it.
