yeah you know it helped alot. Like with me the text issue is a thing of the past and my GPS is working perfectly now. the only minor setback is that maybe your phone might power down on its own mine did once so far the other day but its been fine since.

    Thumbs up Its great.

I had .83 and updated to this .128 and now my texts come through in seconds, my gps starts in 15secs instead of 5 mins, and overall everything is smoother.
I got it from blackberry's web site. When i tried updating from my desktop it didn't even show the update but if you to to blackberry, support and services, then middle of the page "Update your BlackBerry® Device Software online". It will bring up an update page and will work perfect. Took about an hour for full backup and upgrade.

i can't put the link in... but that was the easiest way i found. skip the carrier website

I looked for it from the 8350i under wireless upgrade and it listed .107 and .128.

I am trying to run the .128 upgrade and it bombed twice saying insufficient coverage. I have full bars and everything else is working great. Does everyone use the DM for upgrades or does anyone here use the OTA option from the device?

    Thanks

    Default Power Consumption

    Hello All,

I did the software upgrade a few days ago and now find that my battery is going dead halfway through the day. Usage and apps are all the same so I'm wondering if anyone else has had same problem.

    Thanks.

It was mentioned by one other person too. Make sure you're exiting programs, not just escaping them. Especially anything GPS related.
I've not had a battery issue, even playing slacker radio most the day.
