SIM Error

My Boostberry 4.6.1 won't read any SIMs.

I know there's other threads about this, but they are old and with no solution. Also the connections are stuck on off, and even though Wi-Fi says to be on, I can't connect. It says "Radio is off" on Help Me! screen.
I tried a wipe, a master radio reset, and service book for boost without luck.
I also took it to a shop to see if they could fix it. They said nothing was wrong with the SIM reader, that the SIM was in the right position and all pins were connected, but no fix.

I would really like to get this fixed, please help me.

You gotta realize that there is always the possibility of the radio shutting off and never turning back on again. A lot of them for sale out there too, on craigslist and ebay, I have friends who thought they could fix them(buying them knowing that the radio was a dud) but were never able to get it back on no matter what they tried.

Also, the radio being on or off, in this case, has no relation to the sim card, especially if your sim card works in another phone and/or another working sim doesn't work in your phone. Might have to use that one for parts though, good luck.
