I would like to create a shortcut to the speakerphone option and place it in speed dial. Is this at all possible? I frequently turn the speaker on and off and it's kind of annoying having to go through all the menus every time.

Use the $ button above the right shift key to turn on and off speaker.

Yes... I think you do have to be on a call if you use it.

While on call switch the speaker mode either on or off. If the speaker off symbol is in the upper corner while idle you can hold the "Q" button to switch phone profile and then hold the "Q" button to switch back. This will return the phone to speaker mode for your next DC call.
