Red asterisk notification

I am having trouble, since i installed shangmail i think, i do not get the red asterisk on the Message envelope. I do get it on the sms/mms icon though. I only get the red flashing light, and i even get it all of the sudden and wont stop sometimes, I dont think is my signal because its good whenever i get that red flashing light. I dont think is the BB addiction that is making me hallucinate that red light LOL!

I have the same issue with shangmail. No asterisk on mail. I think this has to do with the fact that were using shangmail for the email instead of BIS or BES.

As far as the red led, it seems to just not clear and stays flashing even after you have read the message and cleared the alert. I think this is just a problem with the software.

Do you think that problem with the software has a fix? or we are just going to have to deal with it. its not a big problem since we are now able to do more stuff with the boostberry which its great.
