register Host Routing table, resend service books.

HRT= options>advanced options> Host Routing Table > BB button> register now.

resend service books=see my sig for "RESEND SERVICE BOOKS FOR 8350I"

That very same thing happend to me..although, I dropped mine in a tub of water. I had to go out and buy another one. One last option I was given was if ur BB is less than a year old, u can try to call BB directly. Everything u buy is usually covered by a manufacturers warranty for the first year, but you may have to mail it to them and wait for them to "possibly" repair it. I didn't do that b/c I needed mine right away! I too tried every thing possible..with not luck! Sorry but good luck to u!

Same thing here,I cant power on,Red light comes on for a couple seconds thats it.I'm wondering if connecting it to my computer caused problem?I just got it and haven't even really used it just started reading manuals today because it's first bb I've owned and wasn't sure how to utilize features.I got it from boostberry.com with everything installed,Has warranty but a pain in the - to send in and wait for it to return.Hoping it was a simple fix?I'm lost without a phone!Thanks for any help!!

Try calling the service provider and having them send the serive books to your phone. Easiest way to do it. I had to do that after my attempted upgrade to 313 and lost some of them. Or if your comfortable enough with messing around with the phone, someone posted a good write up of how to download the service books and install them to your phone yourself with Desktop Manager.
