Default please advise software

Updated to the new software (5 whatever) endured the quickly dying batter and such. Then my phone started shutting down randomly during phone calls, texting ect. completely shutting off where I have to battery pull or plug it into charger to make it come back on.

I downgraded the software to I think 313,

still having the problem but my batter is lasting longer

any advice?

Start cheap, then work your way up the price chain. With that going on, if it were me, I would take the handset into a Sprint shop to have it tested. I probably would go ahead & buy another battery, just as a backup anyway. They are relatively cheap. If the handset is still under warranty it might be free...if not it's probably going to run you about $130 to get it sent out. Some shops might be more aggressively priced, but you really got to know who you are dealing with. Hope that helps.

There is only one way to fix your problem/problems, and I've spent 13 months on it.
Just downgrade your software to 4.6.1.204 (platform 3.0.0.73) from desktop manager and it will solve your problems, all of them.
I have had nothing but problems for a year and Nextel and Blackberry has sent me over 9 new phones and last month I found a rocket scientist at Nextel that explained the 313 software and the brand new software was filled with bugs!!!
I followed her advice and haven’t had a problem since.
Texts go through, emails work; no more red X, no echo, my headset stays connected and I don’t have to hard restart my phone 6 or 7 times a day.
Trust me it will work.
If you have to...back up the phone and wipe it and start from scratch.
Try it, you have nothing to lose but an hour of your time.
BTW, I did the same to my wife’s phone, my sons and my friends and nobody has any complaints.

now if only I can downgrade! I downloaded the file, shut down the DM, unplugged the phone and installed the 204 version, so when I went back to the DM and selected the 204 it keeps trying to download from internet and says there is no connection available. huh. Is there another way, I already installed 204 locally twice.
