Angry Playlist from ****!

I have an 8350i, converted to a boostberry, with music i transferred via mass storage. I deleted the songs, and was about to load new ones when I noticed that there were still songs showing up in the music file. When I try to delete them, it would NOT delete them, and if I try to play them i get "the play list contains no available content". Problem is, there is no play list in the play list folder. Only songs in the music folder which the properties show are the correct size for music files, and even after formatting the memory card, they are still there, but will not play or allow themselves to be deleted.
Does anyone have ANY idea what's happening, and could you recommend a shrink (or contraband substance to make me not obsess over this) before I loose my mind?
