    Default Nextel Tower Down?

So until the storms yesterday I had cell service (boost iDen) at home. Not great, but consistently 0 to 2 bars which allowed me incoming and outgoing calls. Our power is back, but I'm getting an X on my device. Drove into town yesterday and the phone worked. Got back home and it didn't.

Wondering if we lost our nearby Nextel service tower - if so, is there a way to find out - and, given the Nextel network drawdown, will it be repaired?

Hi, I don't know and all good questions. I haven't heard nextels name for quit awhile now. Call Sprint.

    Well, it's more complicated...

...my wife has boost CDMA, I have boost iDen. Neither of us has any bars.

...and we can't call Sprint - or anybody - since we have no service.
