New to BlackBerry please help!!

Hi I just got a blackberry and pretty new to it. I don't understand how it works at all. I have it activated to make calls and receive...but the rest I am just clueless on. Can anyone please help me with this. I even look at the forms but it's all greek to me!! I'm overwhelmed with this smart-phone

What is it that you need help with? Just play with the phone and you'll be surprised all the things you'll figure out on your own. If you have questions use the search button or just ask... most people here are more than willing to help.

I second what Crump said, all you gotta do is ask here, be specific, usually you'll get the answer your looking for.

Also, you might want to go to YouTube, and search for 8350i videos, there are plenty there that go over basic functions and features. The search feature here, up on the right, will also provide you with plenty help with what ever your asking about.

Thanks, I was just trying to figure out how to get the MMS to work on the BB. At the time I couldn't send or received txts. I had to reformat the BB..and whatever I did it works! lol

But I also have some questions regarding to the BB. I've downloaded a few ringtones, wallpapers, you know getting the hang of it so far...but what I'm stuck on is how can I change my alert sounds? Like txts alerts, voice mail alerts and so on..where would I have to go to change this?

To change your alerts and notification sounds, go to your Sounds app, scroll to the bottom where it says "edit profiles" click on that, there you can pick which ever sound profile you want to modify...if your using the "loud" profile click on that one..The "Normal" profile click on that one...You can modify each one to produce alerts according to how ever you want to hear them...After clicking the profile, you'll see a list of options..Phone-messages-instant messages-reminders-other.....the first four are self explanatory click on them and you can then change the alert....The "other" option is for third party apps alerts like berryweather, gmail, etc...and other sound options. Once you click on any of them you will be able to modify your amount of tones, vibs, and particular notification sounds you want to hear.
