Default New 8350i user

Hello everyone, I want to in advance thank everyone for their help.
So i just got my 8350i off CL, for a great price. I want to use it for Boost mobile $50 plan. I have never used boost, so i would be a new user.

First, the 8350i still has its contacts in it. How do i delete all of them?
The phone came with the cable, and BB desktop cd.
2nd, where can i get a Boost modile sim card $50 plan for the phone?
3rd, what steps should i use to i assume flash the phone, or get the phone to work on the boost network?

I know my way around a computer very well, so im sure i can program the phone, just as long as i have the steps.

i would like for the phone to work with everything possible, especially mms or sms, email, internet, and possibly chirp feature. face book, and yahoo, would be nice. I also read google mail, work, but im a yahoo & msn mail person, would that work?

Thanks for your help.

1. Go to the contacts and erase them one by one...or do a factory reset.

2. ebay, search for a Boost starter kit. Or go straight to Boost. They will send you a starter kit, which is essentially just the SIM for a small amount of money.

3. All of the information is in the sticky at the top of this forum. It is very easy and takes about 5 minutes.

You would not be able to use BBM (or any service that uses the RIM servers), no email attachments. Everything else is pretty much the same.

Thanks everyone for your help. So today i brought i 64k card and try to register my phone and it wont allow me. Something dealing with the IMEI#. I dont have another boost mobile phone laying around as this is my first time switching over to boost. I spoke with boost customer service, and management ,and they refused to activate the phone. I need help. I spent alot of money on this phone and card, and dont want it to go to waste.

I finally got it to work. I just brought a $5 used boost mobile off CL and activated the new card that way. Did everything you guided me through and its working. The only thing im not sure of, is the mms picture mail receiving. i can send a text and pic text, but i have yet to receive my pic text. however i have received text just not a picture. any way to fix this?

Click on profiles, scroll down to advanced and click, highlight a profile and hit the BB menu key (key to the left of track ball), click on edit and your there.
