My Shangmail stopped working?

Hi I have the english version 1.0 and about to days ago it stopped working i keep getting this messeage network error? Are your shangmail still working?

its funny you say that mine stopped too and i cant receive any incoming calls it seems like someone else has had my same problem on a different forum but no one replied to them

Shangmail was always a very troublesome app for me. It would work fine for a while then start screwing with my entire phone. It became such a hassle trying to find versions that would work properly that I finally just gave up. This is just my opinion but I would just use the BB email and if your on boost just use Gmail. I think you'll find most people that have used shangmail have experienced one issue or another and pretty much abandoned the app

Yeah... the app is good in theory but it's complete garbage

do you know if there is any email app out there like shangmail? i have the gmail app but liked shangmails features

Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Now, I'm at the point where the wap.shangmail.com download gets me to a screen where it asks which of a handful of chinese servers I want to use vs TCP vs other. Never can get past that. The v 1 or 4.9 downloads let me enter a name and password, but I can't get it to connect and bind an address.

So I gave up. I'm using Logicmail now. It's not pushmail, but works well enough as a TCP client and will let me use email services besides gmail (I don't trust Google as far as I could spit a watermelon seed...)

RIM's has such a good email service that there isn't much of a demand for 3rd party email applications. I tried a couple different email apps such as Logic Mail, but I always went back Gmail. I don't think your going to find another push application but you may want to research if you really depend on emails. I can tell you Gmail for BlackBerry is a pretty stable and reliable but it's pretty limited in what you can do.

So my Shangmail 1.0 is working again. I deleted it from the blackberry, logged into shangmail and deleted all my emails (they keep copies of all your emails on their servers) and accounts.

First I went back to Shangmail and logged in and then re entered my two email accounts, downloaded the mail app for the 8330 (i have an 8350i) and logged out.

Used BB Manager to install the mail app.

It asked me to log in, and without binding accounts or anything I have push mail working again.
