Music headphones only play in 1 side

I bought a standard 2.5mm -> 3.5mm adapter and am trying to listen to my mp3's loaded onto my Boostberry. The sound only comes through one ear (looks like a BB adapter is needed? discussed in this thread) but removing and reinserting my headphone jack causes the song to pause/play and my BB froze up a few times. I had to force a hard shutdown just from messing with the headphones. Anyone else successfully listening to music on their 8350i and how are you doing it?

I do on my torch... It could be a hardware failure. Either the jack, adapter, and or headphones could be the blame.

I might have thought that, but both of my 8350i's do the same exact thing. From the link above I think I need a special BB-branded headphone adapter, but eBay isn't turning up much of anything.

You have to get get the bb one. The from crack berry store works the after market ones will always play on side the other option is cut head phones and wore the to the other jack
