MMS smiley face?

every text I send,, when it ends up at the receiving end has a smiley face attached.
How do i get rid of the smiley face? I am not adding it,, it just happens

I have a similar problem. All of the blackberry users I support have just been upgraded to 8350i's. When they send a text message, it replaces their message with a smiley face. Any ideas? It is not just at the end, but the Smiley replaces the entire message.

I have an 8350i also and found that when I reply to a message, the cursor defaults to the message body and adds Re: to the subject line. The Re: appears as an annoyed looking smiley to the recipients of my messages. To keep it from happening, I just scroll up to the subject line and backspace over the Re:

I know its not a fix and a pain to do, but at least it gets rid of the smiley
