MMS reply field cleared fix has been pushed!!!
It seems RIM has FINALLY pushed the fix to our devices. All I had to do was a 2 minute Battery pull and upon restart the issue is now resolved. There may be a better way to do the restart that will work, but that is how I accomplished it and it worked great. I would recommend everyone else do the same.

Did you stick with the .204 update. I read a few times of your issues and an not sure where you are @ with it. You must have the update along with the push fix for it to work. Maybe they are doing certain areas @ a time?

Yes I'm running .204, maybe your right about doing certain areas.

You guys are the best, I was pissed before that it wasn't clearing it after the update. The 2 min batt pull did the trick!

you can text yourself.

did the battery pull for a few minutes and now the texts are blank for the reply. push must be out in chicago. Unfortunatly all day today and even after this battery pull, im not receiving emails. they fixed one thing and probably broke 3 others in the process

If you still have original text, delete both mms service books.

i did the update and now im doing the 2 minute battery pull, hopefully it works. everything else works (cursor in the reply field, turns off DC in quiet and vibrate mood) not sure about the echo issue because i don't use my phone that much but when i do i will give some feed back. Now all we gotta do is ***** about why our blackberry not 3G speed and hopefully we will be heard just like the MMS problems. Now thats fixed whats next???

just did the 2 min battery pull (well actually 8 mintues) and it works!!! the field clears automatically so the push is going down in New Jersey/ eastern Pa region. now i just gotta work on gettin some themes and im good to go. question, which DC icon everyone talking about? is it when your in DC mode and it's the lil phone in the top left hand corner that showes if your on DC speaker or DC non speaker?
or is it something im missing - 04-07-2009, 01:45 PM #21
Just did it again and no luck yet. Maybe they're doing it alphabetically...lol
