migrate/transfer # help

I am sorry if there was another post but i can't find anything on this. I set up my boostberry thanks to you . The problem now is i want to transfer my old nextel numbers to the new boost account. I talked to boost customer service and they said i have to buy another starter kit and migrate my numbers that way. And that its not possible to migrate the numbers once i have already activated my sim card. Is there any way around this??? I really don't want to buy another starter kit and set all the apps and everything up again.

put your old sim in the BB and copy the numbers to the BB. then put your new sim in and you will be working.

well before you switched not sure if you can still do it you need to copy your contacts to your little mini memory card. You may be able to put your old nextel sim in and if you see your contacts then you will if I remember right you open your contacts then click the blackberry button and copy contacts to card I believe

sorry i know how to copy the contact phone numbers to the phone. I actually meant how to transfer my cell number and my 2 way number to my boost account. the boost rep said it isn't possible to transfer my nextel number to an already activated boost account. And i would need to buy another starter kit.

they are correct for that. you cannot port a number to an existing account. so you would have to create a new account on boost if you want to use the same number.
