Okay the configuration is set to Blackberry. Now how do I know if I am on WIFI? On the top on my homescreen I see the WiFI logo. Does that mean that its on and using it to run my internet?

i dont know about closing it... if you

hold the ALT button and hit your Escape key (to the right of your ball) you will see everything that is running. 5 things ALWAYS run phone, BBmesanger, home, messages, and browser

as for being charged... if you have the unlimited plan you should be "taco bell"
