Looking for a couple free programs

[Sportsmen]

I am looking for the following

1. A program that will do threaded texts.

2. A program that will read my text mesages (and emails)

3. Still looking for an app that will say turn by turn directions

If anyone knows of anything that will work I would appreciate it.

Not sure about items 1 and 2 but answer 3 is Garmin Mobile v5.0.5 is great. It says its a trial but I have had it past the alloted time and it is still working.

Threaded texts can be done with native app, you need to go into your settings and change it from None or 0 that it is on now to maximum of 50 ... search this forum and you will find the answer posted earlier.

on nextel, there is no threaded text.....
no at to speak your text to you that i know of......
no free navi apps

1. I don't know of a way to do this on the 8350i.

2. DriveSafe.ly is an app that will read your texts to you. It uses internet though so depending on your data plan and connection it may or may not work the way you want it to. I tried it on my 8350i on Boost Mobile and it didn't always work (slow connection)

3. Life in Pocket, Nav4all are the best I know of. Nav4all is free until Jan. 1st 2010. Life in Pocket is completely free.
