No. Sorry for my sarcasm. The .204 was the official OS before .313. Soooo many people had problems with .313 they downgraded back to .204 and their problems disappeared. If you do a search for the .204 OS, you should find a link to download it.

Didn't catch the sarcasm xD guess if I was a 8350i user I would've got it but I'm usually on the 8520 forums

I'll look out for the .204 version, thanks, lawden

I wish somebody would have done their research at my company. We just purchased over 10 of the new 8350i's and wow what a nightmare!!

We honestly thought it was something with the new BES 5.0 servers. Finally we got some HONEST people at Nextel who admitted it was a software issue.

Best part is there is no fix in the works, and probably no version 5 for this phone. So we just finished downgrading all our phones and they all work! Who knew we would pay so much money for equipment and have to downgrade out of the box.

Nextel should be ashamed of themselves.

Dude If you have any pull with the company I would return the phones immediately. They are POSs with no plan of improvement. During my weekly call to CS last week I was told that Sprint is not putting anymore money towards tower improvements or software improvements for the 8350i. Sounds like they are abandoning ship.

Default Asolutely When the Phone was Built

I flipped through the about screen and besides his saying the refurbished date, the only other difference was the Branding Version. His is 1.0.103.229 where mine is 1.0.103.66. Other than that, no differences.
If you are talkin about the 8350i, any new device purchased or received via replacement, seems to come with the new .313 TERRIBLE SOFTWARE!!! If you are running the 4.6.1.313, it is HIGHLY recommended that you downgrade to the latest most solid version, the 4.6.1.204!

You Would have to do that from your computer via The BlackBerry Desktop Software!! There are many steps to the downgrade!!

So If this is your problem I would call customer care, get a rep on the line, have them transfer you to the Nextel Or sprint blackberry tech dept. When you get the Tech on the phone just tell him you need him/her to walk you through a software Downgrade!! make sure you call from a lanline phone!!

What you are suggesting is to have all calls start showing up in your message list? If you have the 8350i!?? I would rather just get a Diect send my Info message once in awhile, rather all calls showing up in my Mesasage list.

I have had the same problem, receiving Direct send my Info messages, when people 2-way me. i found the best way to stop it, is have the person that you receive the messages from, go into the options on Their device, I did this with both my parents phones, because evertime one of them 2-wayed me I got an annoying Meassage in my Text/Email message list!

So I took their Device, found the DC options on THEIR phone, and low and behold, ther was an option to turn "Auto Send My Info Off" on both of their devices, and haven't recieved one since, and never had to make a change to my call logging!
Hope this is a little more helpful, as I know how annoying those messages are. But to me i'd rather have the ocassional DC my Info meassage in mu text message list, then to do what you said and choose to have ALL CALLS show up in my meassaging list!!
