I followed all steps, and my BB Des/mag shows me 23 files, so when i transfered those files to my phome I just got 20 and still I don't have internet service.

How about when a BB's usb port is m.i.a.(I bought it used and hopefully soon installing a new port for it). So I've looked around on my phone to see if it's possible to do that through the phone, and it's definitely not, so far. Any ideas?

i am having simalar prob. --- mms works only after i do master radio reset. then voicemail is a busy signal.... question- After putting service books on phone the desktop manager says that there is 23 records then i count how many there are on my phone and there is only 20 ?? is that right or ??

Did the tutorial and works great. Can't get Opera browser or anyother working on the Boost...WiFi is OK. Any suggestions. Also the contacts works however it dialing 1 for the country code....how to delete (1). I don't enter (1) in the contact list and Boost reconizes only area code and number.

NOTE: You must have an approved boost phone, or your 8350i registered with boostmobile.com, I tried to registered my 8350i with boost but their system would not take the IMEI number, it does not matter go ahead and register any phone they can approve. Believe me, it will work.

Most Boost dealers have an old phone lying around....if not I believe the IMEI's are on all the boxes displayed at BestBuy or Radio Shack

Just did it....you have to delete the files with Desk Top Manager then physically go into the phone tools to Service Books and erase the remaining 3-6 files. Then back to Desktop Manager transfering the 23 files. It will show up as 23 files. It took the dummy a couple of tries before I figured out what I was doing....but in the end it worked fine.

all you do is turn smart dialing off.... hit green call button,>bb menu>options> key>select smart dialing > select country code as <unknown> then save. that should do it

This is great! I like your tutorial. Hey my blue tooth sounds like garbage with my black berry. Does it matter the type brand for the bb.? My BT is a Motorola H780

Finally it took me a few days but i finally got my boost service working on my curve 8350 thanks a million.Now i have to work ringtones

good morning. i have turned a fewe 8350i's into BoostBerrys. but the last one i did had every option it should except when you make phone calls the sound seems like it is "scrambled". has anyone else had this problem? any help is apprciated

You can go to options>>status, or look under the battery.

Another shortcut is to hold both the "alt" and LEFT "shift" key and press the letter "H".

Hello, I have done all of these steps and have had my phone working great w/ all features for 5-6 months... here comes fri. 1/8/10 only able to send mms not recieve... sat. unable to send or recieve mms... have tried taking battery out, sim card out, hard reset, master radio reset and re installing service books. I live in zip 98271 perhaps it is a regional problem, please if anyone can help me, Thanks Jon

hello im unsure if this thread can help me out, im trying to buy a 8350i on ebay and try to use it with nextel in mexico. do i need to do all this? or is there another step involved?

you have to buy a nextel 8350 branded for mexico. the boost will work, but your going to have to use a us number.
