Default Help with OWA

I signed up for the data plan just so I could check my emails (which are internet based) via my phone. Then my boss tells me that RIM has it's own software and I am not able to get my emails on my phone. I do, however, receive my gmail. Our company uses OWA Outlook Web Access for iur email through the exch01.savcor.com/owa.

Does anyone know if this is true or is there a way to (crack it) and make it work. Since I have full web on my phone, I just don't understand why I can't access my web based email.

I'll try to keep this short and simple...

What your boss refers to as "its own software" is probably Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES), which is used by companies to manage blackberry units and email service for them.

Even if your company doesn't use BES, however, that doesn't mean that you can't access your email account on your Blackberry. If your mailbox is enabled with remote access protocols (IMAP/POP3), it should work just fine, and you could set up your email account on the Blackberry using the OWA logon credentials...but there is no guarantee this is the case, again, it all depends on what kind of access your company has set up on their Exchange Server.

Have you tried to add your account to the BB?

Pete is correct, Also, you should edit the OWA address out of your post. No use giving out more info than needed...
