Aren't you the one with the older model linksys router I tried to help in another post? JUst wondering because how did the WEP key work for you? did you try it? Might work. Its on the back of your router it's ten digits long and since it;s a linksys should start with a number. Once you have that entered into your phone that should help you get wifi.

i did have an earlier post on this same prob.since then ive been to nextel store and got data plan hoping this would help but stil unable to get on line thru wifi .the lady at nextel tried to connect to her wifi using key and stil no luck. ive got a dlink router and it doesnt ask for a key like some of the other spots ive tried .it is unsecured and says its conected but the "wifi" is grey instead of white but at top of screen it also says default home in white. tried power off router same thing.baffled!
