Handsfree PTT?

Is the 8350i able to use PTT/direct connect (Nextel) handsfree?? I know you can use a headset and use the buttong to talk via PTT, but is there a way to do handsfree without controlling via the actual phone? In other words, is there a way to control the phone contacts to locate the direct connect contact handsfree?

By the very acronym of Push To Talk, I don't think it's possible. Some button activation is required, whether on the phone itself or on a corded earpiece.
