fatal error A:0x00000000E problems!

i tried updating my device software 4 my 8350i cause i havent done it 4 a while.in the process of backing up and updating it stopped working and i got a fatal error message. on my screen on the phone it says reload software: 507 and the fatal error was on desktop manager. does anybody know what i can do???????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????

I got that error like 3 times trying to update my BB. Landed up having to take it to the Repair Center.

Customer Service told me on the phone that the unit was toast but the Tech was able to save it.

Also got this error when I tried to upgrade to 4.6.1.294 OS using the DM - it failed halfway through the upgrade and popped up the "reload software: 507" error. When I hooked it back up to the DM, it finally gave me a message saying it couldn't find any "blackberry OS software on the device".

Essentially you've just wiped out the OS - which is what the tech at Telus told me when I called. I tried again and was successful.

Either keep trying....it'll go after a few tries.....or use the app loader vs Dm....I had this exact problem trying to go to 313 and back to 294....or you can change computers....i went from my laptop to my sisters laptop and the 294 loaded flawlessly the first time with out a hint of an issue...my laptop would throw the same error and all i could do was go to 313 from my laptop.
