Default itunes

the instructions by the OP were helpful and simple enough to follow. But after reading 4 pages here I'm more confused than ever whether or not bb owners can use itunes. But then, i have no idea what drm means. I use my bb for e-mail, but don't think I'll ever figure out music. The desktop manager 6 that ties my media to Windows media player makes it even worse. At least with the older bb desktop i could see what was on my device and manage the media content.

you can drag and drop music from your pc to your BB, without using itunes or windows media. I don't know what could be easier than that.

Yes, and this is what I need to figure out how to do, but I'm still a couple of steps away from having music that can be dragged on my pc. Still trying to find a good downloader for music. I really like what I found on Amazon (it was even linked to my on-line source for music, "All Music Considered" on NPR) but only allows mp3 sales to US customers (i'm in Canada). So, I'll keep browsing here to see what other people use.
Barry.

I put music on the micro-sd card using your instructions (BB Curve 8330). Used Windows media player to download the music. Seemed to work fine, but when I try to play it, I don't get complete selections & there are interruptions. Any ideas?

Having read such an easy to understand set of instructions I thought I wouldn't have any problems transferring some songs from Windows Media. However when I connect my Blackberry to my PC I don't get any screen popping up on my Blackberry and I can't seem to proceed further.
I have tried using the software that came with the Blackberry with no success so was quite hopeful this would work. On reading through some of the replies I am now wondering if it because I need a media card. A friend of mine doesn't have a media card but still managed to transfer music...can't remember how though!

I am getting a bit confused with what I thought would be a simple process so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have some other app running that would make the software think there is a video device playing? It doesn't sound like an mp3 problem, it sounds like the phone just can't play/record using different programs at the same time.

my music has all been put on this way,the only "problem is that when I click on the music icon in media, and view the albums, they are different to when I click on explore, and go to media card, even though all my music is on the card only. Some albums have to accessed one way, some the other. Also the music accessed through "explore" will not play continuously unless I select "play all", and the icons for each track look fuzzy compared to the ones when using "media/music/albums"
