Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | Yes it IS 3G, just not GSM 3G. It is EVDO Compatible, which is CDMA 3G
Carrier Availability
LetsTalk, Sprint, TELUS
Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g
Dual-band 900/1800 Mhz GSM/GPRS networks
Dual-band 800/1900 MHz CDMA2000 1X Ev-DO networks

No worries. Unfortunately the term 3G is used by both CDMA/GSM carriers and can get confusing across the board.

Dual-band 800/1900 MHz CDMA2000 1X Ev-DO networks | 120% WRONG!!!!!! Please confirm the info you are giving out before leading someone in the wrong direction. The 8350i is iDEN, not CDMA. It works on the 800/900 MHz bands and the iDEN network is 2G and very, very, very slow.

The 8350i only supports the iDEN standard which has no natural upgrade path. Some networks are seemingly migrating it to CDMA (Sprint Nextel) and others UMTS (Nextel International). However, the 8350i does not support EITHER of these standards. Really the CDMA path isn't even an upgrade path, it's a replacement of sorts that seems to be dead right now.
But, either way on Sprint Nextel expect to see maximum speeds around 19.6 kbps.
Edit, and the 8350i does NOT support Ev-DO.

Update: PM sent correcting myself to the OP, also asking him/her to check for the correct answer to those that posted after me. Thank you again for the correction.
