Default Direct Connect Info

How come for some of my friends when they chirp it sends me a message abut Direct Send Info even though there in my contacts list and some its doesn't do that for.

They may have their phone set to send with ever connect.

You're right.

I notice all boost phones have that setting on right out the box (I'm not sure about "the Clutch", but other ones do). Some older Nextels do that as well.

As annoying as it is, there's really nothing you can do but tell whomever is chirping you to turn that setting off.

I actually haven't been getting direct send messages lately. Going to try to not turn off my phone for as long as I can as to not lose it.
