Changing broken faceplate

Wife dropped a kitchen bowl on her BB the other day and cracked the faceplate clear cover, so I'll be getting a replacement from eBay (unless someone has an extra laying around that they won't be using)... is the tutorial here the best one to use? Anyone else changed out their 8350i faceplate and have any tips?

I kept searching here and found a few more write-ups and Youtube video links. Looks like a do-able project and parts are under $10 or so online. Any tips still appreciated!
